It’s Magazine Monday, people! Here’s a closer look at this bouquet from our glossy pages that’ll have you swooning over succulents.
Here’s a floral trend to befriend: Succulents
Succulents have been in style for dayzzz now — and for good reason. They are crisp, creative, and cool. The best way to keep them current is to incorporate fresh shades and shapes — like this bouquet from Cary’s Designs Floral.
“We love working with different types of succulents like air plants and echeveria,” says owner Cary Hanks. “Succulents are often heavy, so your florist must plan their placement well.”
Pick of the Tips
Consider Your Cake “Fresh flowers on a cake are amazing and easy to do,” Cary says. “Most florists will provide loose flowers for the cake, a cake topper, or even decorate your cake on site. I am seeing the trend move toward greenery accents with little or no flowers. Adding a floral touch to your cake will go a long way.”
Early Does It “We like to book weddings early, and we also recommend a follow-up appointment 30 days ahead of the event to work out the final details,” Cary says. “You should call your florist and reserve your day as soon as you have your wedding date.”
