Bold Blooms

Date
Jul, 03, 2017

It’s Magazine Monday! And we’re sharing one of our favorite floral trends from our glossy pages.

Here’s a floral trend to befriend: Asymmetrical Bouquets

Asymmetrical bouquets filled with big, voluminous blooms — like this wrist candy from Marianne Seale of Bushel & A Peck — are having a moment. From the full garden roses to the colorful orchids to the playful snapdragons, it evokes a feeling of abundance.

“I’m loving this trend of a more free-flowing garden style rather than the very structured or round traditional style,” Marianne says.

Pick of the Tips

It’s Your Season “No matter the season, your wedding is about you,” Marianne says. “It you love bright colors and shades of summer — but you’re getting married in the winter — by all means do whatever makes you happiest. There’s always a way to incorporate the season and still be you.”

Hair Flair “The trend is leaning more toward the floral comb this year,” Marianne says. “It is a great way to incorporate blooms near your face without being overwhelming.”

P.S. Check out the other two floral trends we’ve featured from our glossy pages here + here. And stay tuned for the last two on upcoming Magazine Mondays near you!
