Darling Date “Ryan and I call most of our dates “adventures.” We love exploring new places together and trying new things. One of my favorite adventures with him was our first trip to Bear Lake. We drove up on the Fourth of July, had lunch and a raspberry shake from Labeau’s (THE BEST shakes), hung out by the water and finished the night watching fireworks. I couldn’t ask for anything more!”Â
Perfect Proposal “Neither of us had ever been to the Oregon Coast. While dating in 2014, we took our first trip there together and completely fell in love with it. During that trip, we hiked to Munson Creek Falls. It was so serene and just gorgeous. Fast forward to 2016, we went back to some of our favorite places in Portland and along the Coast, one of which was the hike to Munson Creek Falls. It was here that Ryan proposed — and it could not have been more perfect. We were the only ones around and he said, “I’ll always remember this place because it’s where I asked you to marry me.” He then got down on his knee and the rest is history. We’re going back to Oregon in June and I can’t wait to revisit that spot.”
Alluring Accessory “I’m a pearls girl, through and through. I wore pearl earrings (previously gifted from my sister/Matron of Honor) and a pearl pendent necklace (previously gifted from my parents), both such special pieces to me. It was nice to be able to incorporate them into that day.”
Sensational Seams “Oh, the lace! I wanted a modern/industrial setting for our wedding with romance sprinkled in throughout. The dress added perfectly to that! I loved the fit, the train, neckline, but the lace is was did it for me — I felt amazing in that dress.“Â
Most Memorable Moment “I loved every moment. The ceremony itself was really memorable to us because it was offered by one of Ryan’s best friends. It was so special because it was personal to us and our relationship. He was so thoughtful about the words said and created the perfect atmosphere for our wedding. It meant the world to us.”
