It’s Magazine Monday! And we’re excited to share the final bridesmaid inspiration we put together with Chantel Lauren Designs for our 2019 glossy pages. (Currently gracing our cover on newsstands!) It’s city chic at its finest, friends! Also, be sure to check out Party of Five and Party of Seven, as well as our 18 bridesmaid trends to befriend!
MORE LIKE CENTRAL WERK. This inspo is for brides who want an intimate group. Keeping the bridal party small helps keep the costs down and the activities spontaneous! How fun would it be for a bride and her two best friends to grab hot cocoa or coffee before an afternoon wedding? (The most fun.)
THE GOWN This “Tammy” gown from Chantel Lauren is a texture wonderland. The “bow”-detailed chiffon and the almost wing-like bodice are simultaneously elegant and flirty. We’re smitten.
THE GALS Velvet jumpsuits? Yes to the YES. We adore unexpected styles and love the added drama of this deep navy shade.
THE PETALS Who says bridesmaid bouquets need to be the same? We’re obsessing over these two different monochrome bouquets — and how the bride’s petals incorporate both of the maids’ blooms. “Let your florist play with different colors, shapes, and blooms to make them look just as unique as yours,” says Alexa of Lilly and Iris. “Non-traditional colors are taking over the floral industry, so I mashed non-traditional colors with traditional ones (brown next to blush) and non-traditional blooms with traditional blooms (roses next to anthurium). It’s unique. It’s unexpected. It’s one-of-a-kind.”
