It’s Magazine Monday! And we can’t think of a better way to start the week than with Megan and Daniel’s divine Knot & Pine wedding from our glossy pages! Enjoy this charming closer look at these two lovebirds.
Megan Saxton married Daniel Hawley surrounded by friends, family, and the most wondrous wildflowers. The couple met through the dating app Mutual and went on their first date at Sundance Resort.
“We hit it off immediately,” Megan says. “We had common goals, and after over a year of dating, everything fell into place.”
Daniel opted for a dreamy little spot in American Fork Canyon to propose. Then Megan got down to business! After working as a wedding coordinator for several years, she knew exactly who she wanted on her own wedding’s dream team.
Each vendor helped pull together her freshly picked vision — from the hand-dyed blush gown to the jaw-dropping cake to the wildflower bouquet that looked perfectly plucked off a mountaintop.
Even more important than the execution of her floral fairy tale were those she shared it with.
“The best part was seeing how many people came to support the beginning of our life together!” Megan says.
PICTURE THIS Megan was nervous about finding the right dress, but designer Ariel Elizabeth put those nerves to rest. “She made me feel beautiful, which is what a bride of any size wants and should feel on her wedding day,” Megan says. Megan and Daniel were married in the Mount Timpanogos LDS Temple and held their dinner reception that evening at Knot & Pine. The rustic barn dazzled with wildflowers everywhere. Vintage seating from Utah Vintage Rentals looked so right and so rad next to the wildflower floor installations. Guests were treated to tacos and paletas (Mexican popsicles) as a nod to Megan’s parents who live in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
