For Madeline and Zak Haws, it was blind date fate. The Provo couple then spent much of their courtship in Utah’s beautiful mountains, and that love for the mountains took center stage at their wondrous wedding over the Fourth of July weekend last year. “We wanted our wedding to imitate our summer adventures in the mountains, so we chose an ethereal, eclectic wedding theme with colorful, boho vibes,” Madeline says.
For the radiant reception, they picked White Shanty for its industrial, modern design — and they celebrated under a gorgeous trellis of wildflowers. (Seriously! We are DYING over these florals by Danielle Skillings.) The venue was outfitted in mismatched boho decor (that rug, y’all!), while dreamy boho blankets donned tables, backdrops, and a photo booth. The cake by The Mighty Baker was simplicity at its most stunning. And guests dined on a delectable barbecue dinner with stellar summer salads, a lovely lemonade station and an All-American apple pie bar. Oh, and speaking of country charm, their reception had the most beautiful touches of Americana to celebrate the Independence Day weekend.
The wedding party was outfitted in chambray, stripes and mismatched boutonnieres. The bride personified boho chic. And it was all captured so elegantly by their photographer, The Visionary Co.
“The day was filled with sunshine, love, and pure happiness!” Madeline says.
