JULY 5, 2014 // Stacy + TJ
You can’t hurry love — and this dreamy destination wedding took its sweet time. Stacy Klein and TJ Bittel didn’t go on their first date until five years after they met. After bumping into each other at a local coffee shop, the New York residents went out for dim sum, shared a kiss on the Brooklyn Bridge and went to see a movie — and cupid finally struck. “The date was eight hours long, and neither of us wanted the night to end!” Stacy says. As their romance grew into marriage plans, TJ went all out on the proposal. He took her back to the momentous Brooklyn Bridge and asked Stacy to be his wife while a photographer captured the moment nearby. Later that night, he gave Stacy a padlock engraved with their initials, a guidebook and a flight itinerary for a trip to paris. Just … oui. Stacy then teamed up with Michelle Leo Events to create a woodsy wedding wonder at Sundance Resort. “Our wedding day was truly magical,” Stacy says, “but the absolute highlight was having all of our loved ones from all over the country together to share the occasion.”
Be sure to check out Stacy and TJ’s gorgeous wedding video at the bottom of the post by Ryan Hinman Films. It dazzles us.
