When it comes to Kate and Bryce’s summer wedding, we have two words for you: I do.
Okay, we have a couple more two-word combos. Leaf crown. Boho bridesmaids. Baby’s blush. Polaroid decor. And that donut bar? Don’t mind if we do.
Here are Kate’s most marry moments from her day of I do.
Darling Date “Bryce is always trying to help me get out of my comfort zone and do things I’ve never done before. On one of my favorite dates, he wanted to hike to the summit of a huge mountain to see the sunrise on the other side. We left around three in the morning, hiked for hours (which I totally was not in shape for, but I wanted to impress him), and we ended up getting lost and not making it in time anyway. But Bryce was such a good sport and made me laugh even when I was miserable.”
Vivacious Vendor “Alixann Loosle Photography was a dream to work with. She was kind, flexible, professional and went the extra mile every step of the way. Her pictures were gorgeous, and I feel like the work she did for us was so priceless.”
Perfect Proposal “I’d told Bryce that I had three rules for getting engaged. 1) I didn’t want to be proposed to with a ring in any sort of food. 2) I would say no if he asked me to marry him at a sporting event. 3) I wanted it to be a private and special moment between just the two of us. Bryce took me out of my comfort zone (like he’s always been good at) and we went snowshoeing at night in the freezing cold. I was so not happy, but he insisted we go. Partway through the trail, I saw a glow. Bryce had lit a bunch of candles and put them in a little cove along a rock face. He pulled me inside there, probably said some really nice things, and gave me the ring. It was better than anything I could have come up with.”
Prettiest Petals “My favorite use of flowers was the leafy crown I had in place of a veil for most of the day. It was totally my style, and was so simple and beautiful.”
Divine Decor “Bryce and I printed out a bunch of our pictures from when we were dating in polaroid form and hung them up with clothespins on some twine along one of the paths at our reception. Choosing the pictures was so fun and made the reception seem more personal.”
Most Memorable Moment “Dancing near the end of our wedding was a perfect way to end the night. We had all of our family there at our sides, and I never wanted the moment to end. When we had our first slow dance, it felt like we were the only two there. (Cheesy, I know.)”
