Rebecca Malouf and Jared Franson’s sundrenched summer wedding was a celebration of two families merging — the Franson Fusion, as Rebecca calls it. It was a second marriage for both. They met when Jared contacted Rebecca through LDSPlanet.com the day before her subscription expired. Fate? We’d say so. Before Jared met Rebecca, she went to dinner with his two sisters who live in Utah Valley. They gave Rebecca two enthusiastic thumbs up. Then Jared flew in from out of town to meet Rebecca, who was living in Provo. They clicked just as well in real life as they had online. When it came time to propose, Jared enlisted the help of his four children. “They helped pick out the ring and plan the proposal, which was really sweet,” Rebecca says. When the big day finally came, it was a casual, romantic family celebration — just like Rebecca wanted.
