AUGUST 9, 2014 // Emily + Wade
Emily Siegfried and Wade Crockett’s love story is a classic tale of boy meets girl. Except boy and girl weren’t totally feeling it. “He thought I was way too high maintenance, and I thought he was cute — but way too nice for me. We didn’t hit it off at all!” Emily says. But as with any great story, coincidences and connections abounded. In fact, Wade’s two best friends married Emily’s two best friends, and this boy and girl couldn’t fight the fate (or potential triple dates). Their second chance became a second-to-none romance. When it came to wedding planning, Emily was in her element. She’s known what she wanted for her wedding since she was little — a classic, timeless, one-of-a-kind affair. And when the long-dreamt-about day finally arrived, it couldn’t have been dreamier. “My favorite moment was being sealed to my husband. I also loved going to our reception and seeing everything fall into place,” Emily says. “I worked for months planning our wedding, and it all came together exactly how I pictured it.” Boy and girl married happily ever after. The end. The beginning.
