Kristin Todd and Nick Rush were randomly teamed up together while playing a game with friends. Then Nick invited Kristin over to roast marshmallows, and the two bonded over backyard badminton (as you do). Nick’s Provo backyard eventually became the scene of his proposal after a photo scavenger hunt around town. When it came to wedding planning, Kristin turned to the best. “My amazing mother basically planned the entire thing while I was busy being in love and spending every second with my groom-t0-be,” Kristin says. Venue? The backyard where it all started, of course. Theme? Vintage glam. “For as long as I can remember, I wanted a black and white wedding,” she says. The big day? “Non-stop fun and excitement,” Kristin says. “It was stress free, allowing us to focus on celebrating and enjoying the day.”
