Amy + Lance

Date

It’s Magazine Monday, friends! And today we have a closer look at the delightful wedding of Amy and Lance from our 2018 glossy pages. Happy scrolling!

Amy + Lance // July 15, 2017

For Amy and Lance Cook, the details were decadent and the day was divine. But even more importantly? The ambiance was pure and fabulous fun.

PERFECT PROPOSAL “We got engaged on Mother’s Day. Lance took me up the canyon where we had a romantic picnic. We brought a hammock and watched the sunset over the valley. Then he took me back to my parents’ house where he led me to the backyard. The walkway to the pool deck was lined with rose petals and there was a beautiful candle-lit dinner waiting for us. At this point, I pretty much knew what was going on and I was shaking all over with nerves. After dinner, Lance turned on our song and we danced. As he was spinning me around, he pulled out the ring and got down on one knee. By the time I was turned all the way around, I saw him there and burst into tears. It was a perfect day.”

DELECTABLE DECOR “Our favorite decor included the wooden signs we used to welcome the guests, tell our story, and use as a menu at the drink bar. I also loved the large Edison bulbs strung throughout the trees.”

BEST BITE “Bacon wrapped prime rib!”

FULL CIRCLE “We were married in the Provo City Center LDS Temple, which was special to me because I was there when the tabernacle burned down! I love that I was able to see it be built back up into a beautiful temple.”

VOWZA VENDOR “Our photographer, Cecilia Harvard. Cecilia was so nice to work with. She made us so comfortable and actually made the photo shoots super fun!”

PICTURE THIS The attention to detail at Amy and Lance’s reception was a thing of pure beauty. Eucalyptus florals donned the tables, the bouquets, and the red gift truck. (How cool is that red truck, by the way?) The wood touches added warmth and dimension to the festivities, from the wood signs telling their love story to the farm house tables to the larger-than-life wooden picture prop. But the best part? It’s clear Amy and Lance had a blast at their wedding — almost every picture of the couple is filled with the loveliest laughter.
