Whitney Kofford and Brett Brailsford owe their happily ever after to a Facebook blunder. They met when Brett messaged her trying to contact a different Whitney. At the time, Whitney was living in L.A. working as a photographer but happened to be home for Thanksgiving in Utah. They met up and the rest is history. After seven months of long-distance dating, Brett proposed in Heber followed by a romantic dinner at Sundance Resort where Brett worked. Her favorite wedding day moment? “The temple,” Whitney says. “It’s such a special feeling that can’t be replaced or recreated.” She also loved playing a joke on Brett by playing “Total Eclipse of the Heart” instead of their pre-arranged first dance song. “I could not stop laughing, and Brett’s face was priceless,” Whitney says.
