Surprise Engagement

Date
Nov, 28, 2018

Sandy memories + sunflower dreams.

Taylor thought she was modeling for just another styled shoot. The stunning sand dunes backdrop. The fab Mary’s Bridal gown (those sleeves!). And vendors, vendors everywhere!

Oh, how wrong she was.

Devon, her groom-to-be, made an incredible arch, talked to vendors, planned the whole thing, and surprised her with the question of a lifetime.

See the video below, and then scroll through the sweet pictures by Jessica E Photography. One of our most favorite details? The meaningful custom-designed ring.

“The sun and the stars have always been our thing together — something we feel connected to,” Taylor says. “The first shooting star I ever saw was with him, and every one we’ve seen together since then is how many little circle diamonds are on the outside of the big center diamond. My favorite flower has always been the big sunflower, so he custom designed it in that way. He had been designing the whole thing and having it made without me knowing for about a year!”

Happy wedding, you two! Reach for the stars.
