Color, friends. We are loving, honoring, and obeying it this year. Just take this purple perfection, for example.
“Some trends last longer than others,” says Rebecca Curtis, of Rebecca M. Creative. “One long-lasting trend we cannot get enough of is the incorporation of unique colors and detailing of wedding gowns. The 2019 bride is fearless when it comes to color and sharing their unique personal tastes and style in their gown choice.”
Looking to shake things up, local designer Janay Marie asked her social media followers for input while she created new, innovative wedding gowns to add to her collections. Opting to embrace color, Janay used blush tones to create a full circle skirt — with room for a train and plenty of dance and movement. The top is one of sheer lace, with a blush-hued undershirt that allows for modesty — something of high importance for many Utah brides.
“We encourage all brides to be more open to shapes, details, and of course, color,” Rebecca says.
