Named after the family that once lived on the farmlands where this show-stopping venue now resides, Walker Farms combines the gorgeous beauty of Utah’s landscapes with the timeless elegance of modern weddings. It’s the perfect place for any bride looking to bring her dream wedding to life. From a perfect combination of indoor and outdoor spaces to a grand staircase right out of the movies, this venue right in the heart of Utah Valley is the perfect backdrop for your “I Do’s”.

Stephanie and her incredible team at Walker Farms go above and beyond for every single couple they have the privilege of hosting at their venue. As the manager since the opening in December of 2019, Stephanie has seen all kinds of weddings, of all kinds of styles and budgets. And after over four years of bringing dream weddings to life, she can’t pick a favorite.

Who better to be your wedding coordinator than someone who is just as invested in your big day as you are?

The Best of Both Worlds

What makes Walker Farms so incredible for couples everywhere is the versatility of the space and the freedom to do with it what you want. “Couples are able to bring in their own vendors, we have a beautiful bride’s room, we have plenty of parking, and we have a big space where we can have a large gathering for lunches and dinners and ceremonies.”

Not only is their indoor space the perfect place for any moment of your big day, but their outdoor space connects perfectly for an effortless go-between.

We all know how unpredictable Utah weather can be—and Walker Farms can handle any of it. “When we sit down and do the coordination with the family we usually have a plan B in place just in case.”

And every single couple gets access to the whole farm, all day. “We only have one event per day, and the whole property is private for the whole day.” A whole day means 12 hours of access for you and your guests to enjoy the magic of every moment, from walking down the aisle to driving away in the getaway car.

All Yours, All Day

Stephanie says that in addition to the 12-hour rental period, the best thing about Walker Farms is the flexibility of their space and the beauty of it. Whether you want to use some of their preferred vendors or have your aunts do the flowers, it’s the perfect backdrop. Even their bride’s room on the second floor is one of the most beautiful spots on the property, with stained glass windows framing an elegant space that’s perfect for your getting-ready photos. Don’t forget to bring the champagne glasses!

If you want round tables or farm tables, or a mix of both, anything is possible. And with a variety of spaces available, you could have an indoor ceremony with an outdoor reception, or vice versa. “Outdoor ceremonies are very popular, but the staircase is also beautiful. It’s the reason people choose to have their ceremony here, just because of that grand staircase. It’s really nice because we can have the bridesmaids and groomsmen come down and meet in the middle and walk together, or have a bride’s dad stand at the bottom and see these doors open and the bride’s standing here, and Dad watching her come down and meet him on the landing, it’s straight out of the movies.”

For the outdoor ceremonies, it’s just as beautiful. Most outdoor ceremonies face the barn with the gorgeous mountains just behind it, creating the most incredible backdrop for your photos, perfectly capturing one of the happiest moments of your life.

Bringing Your Love to Life

The best part for Stephanie and her team is seeing every couple’s dreams come true. “Sometimes I’ll work a 14-hour day, or 16-hour day and I go home so tired and lay down in bed, and I look at the text from a groom, or bride, or a mom that just says, ‘Thank you so much for making our day perfect,’ and

it’s so worth it just to know that their day that they look forward to was great.

“I think just seeing someone else’s dreams come true, and seeing someone else’s eyes light up when they come into the room, and someone else’s heart just being full or seeing a bride and groom, or two grooms, or two brides dancing on the floor together, and seeing the love between them—that is what makes it so worth it.”

Even with other events like corporate parties, Stephanie loves to see the camaraderie and the connection between people and families. “No matter what the event is, I think just seeing the human emotion side of it here is what I love about my job.”

Advice From The Vendor

Stephanie’s first piece of advice to couples who are planning a wedding is about keeping track of your budget. “Set up a separate bank account or have a credit card just for your wedding. It doesn’t cost anything, then that way you know how much you’re spending and you can really be honest with yourself. It’s going to save you so much stress.”

She also says to look for a venue that serves in its functionality as well as its looks. “There are so many good venues in Utah so choose one that meets your needs. Make sure you read the contract, make sure you have enough parking; when you’re choosing the venue don’t just look at how beautiful it is but really know what you want for your day. ‘Do I need to have a place for a sit-down dinner?’ ‘Do I want to have a ceremony?’ Know those things so that you’re choosing somewhere that meets your needs on top of the beauty of it.”

The beauty and magic of Walker Farms extends beyond the beauty of their property. When you have your wedding here, you experience your dreams brought to life with the person you love most. And, it doesn’t hurt to have your grand staircase moment either.
