Savannah + Ben

Date
May, 11, 2020

It’s Magazine Monday! And today we have the sweet and stunning wedding of Savannah and Benjamin — straight from our glossy pages. This is a can’t-miss wedding, friends! So get scrolling.

Savannah Vincent and Ben Swenson’s love story is a cut above.

It began at the bride-to-be’s family business — Salon Pritchétt — where Ben was getting his hair cut and started chatting with Sav’s mom, Stephanie. They had a great conversation, and Stephanie suggested Ben take Sav out. He called her the next day, took her on a cute comedy club first date, and the rest is history.

After a surprise proposal in Hawaii, Sav enlisted the expertise of the other family business — Pritchétt Bridal. Savannah’s mom, Steph, and her sister, Tiffany, own the bridal shop and helped her find an incredible beaded lace dress by Dany Tabet.

The couple’s summer stunner had it all — the dreamy backdrop of The Sequoias, incredible food from Caley’s Catering (including killer carne asada tacos), and the cutest vintage flower bus that made custom bouquets for guests as a parting gift. How charming is that?

As a former BYU Cougarette, Sav knew the wedding had to include dancing. She changed into a jumpsuit at the end of the reception and danced the night away as confetti cannons exploded all around them.

Best part of the day? The quiet moment they shared before the sparkler send-off.

“It was so fun to sit back and look out at our party,” Sav says.

After their winsome wedding — captured so gorgeously by Emilie Ann Photography — the two Utah Valley natives moved to Glendale, Arizona, where Ben is attending medical school.

PICTURE PERFECT Savannah had 15 beautiful bridesmaids. Getting ready with them at Salon Pritchétt the morning of the wedding is one of her most favorite memories. Her sister, Tiffany Pritchett (pictured above, left of Sav) glammed the bride up for her big day. Oh, and you know the gown had to be good. Savannah had a gown picked out, but when her mom and sister went to bridal market and saw this stunning Dany Tabet dress, they knew she had to have it. “My mom says it was like the dress I had already picked out — but on steroids!” she says. Dany Tabet also made Savannah a custom veil with intricate 3-D flowers.

DIVINE DETAILS Sav’s venue, The Sequoias, was garden party goodness on an epic scale.  Caley’s Catering created casual chic cuisine with tacos, chips and salsa, a soda bar, and milkshakes. #treatyoself Helping pull together every last detail of Sav’s wedding was her mom Steph, and sister Tiffany. “I pinched myself throughout the wedding planning process because I had the best team behind me,” Sav says. The kid’s table was a huge hit with personalized coloring pages, bubbles, and candy galore.

PICTURE OF A PARTY Sav and Ben know how to make an entrance — and an exit. After the reception line, the bride changed into a killer jumpsuit so she could move and groove. DJ Rob Ferre (Life of the Party Entertainment) then busted out tunes, confetti cannons exploded, and Sav and her fellow Cougarettes started dancing in sync. As the sun was setting, Mr. and Mrs. Swenson sped off in a posh Porsche as sparklers waved in the distance.
