Celebrate Pride Month with Us in this Utah Queer Wedding Elopement on the Salt Flats

Happy Pride Month, Utah! Today we are so excited to share this stunning Salt Flats elopement styled shoot for Natalia and Katie. From the pastel orange and pink florals to the way the bright blue sky perfectly frames their I do moments, and the way the dusk settled around their champagne celebration in the evening, it’s like the universe gave its blessing that these two are meant to be!

Hosts and Photography

Thanks to the hosts Ava J Photo and Krystal Marie Photography, we get to celebrate Utah’s Queer love stories in the most gorgeous way possible. And of course, Aubrey Elise Photography took these two love birds and turned their love story into magic with these amazing photos. We really can’t get enough of Salt Flats elopements around here, especially when it’s two brides getting married!

Real Brides with a Real Love Story

Because what’s better than one Utah Valley Bride? Two Utah Valley Brides! Natalia and Katie aren’t just the most ethereal brides we’ve ever seen; they’re the perfect choice for a jaw-dropping bridal moment with their bright smiles and real-life love story to make us tear up just a little bit, just seeing how they look at each other.

The Bridal Looks

And Boda Bridal was the ultimate bestie to dress these two brides; the way the A-line gowns blow whimsically into the wind, perfectly complementing each other while still holding their own in the beauty category, needs to be studied by every bride looking for a different-yet-matching bridal look for their Queer wedding.

We can’t mention the wedding outfits without bringing up this incredible veil from Avery Lillywhite—thrifted materials, handmade, and seriously beautiful. It’s like a Juliet cap veil, but even better. The lace, applique, and hanging beaded strands bring out the seaside vibes of the Salt Flats and the innate beauty of her wearer perfectly.

To top it all off, literally, the amazing hair and makeup team made these brides glisten and glow on the outside just as much as they do on the inside. Sarah Michelle Artistry and Mardi Nilsson are your go-to girls for beauty and glam. And we can’t forget bridal nails—Bad Ash Nails knows how to make a girl’s nails look as good as the diamond on her finger.

Using Flag-Inspired Colors and Details

Oh, and did you notice that those insanely beautiful florals aren’t just one-of-a-kind? The colors in the bridal bouquets from Blooms By Marley are the same colors as the Lesbian Pride flag; it’s the small details like that that really make a magical moment even more special.

Matching Yet Unique

But there’s even more—why stop at matching bridal bouquets when you can have matching wedding rings too? Olive Ave Jewelry not only made these brides’ dreams come true with diamonds that sparkle as much as they do, but by giving the perfect couple perfect matching oval wedding rings. Is it possible to get married again? Asking for a friend.

But none of it would have even been possible without the genius of Planned by Peter, who took the salty details of one of our favorite natural landscapes in Utah and brought it to life with the most incredible decor moments. The ceremony backdrop installation? One of a kind, just like this love story.

But the real MVPs are the rentals… How else do you get stunning and useful seating to the Salt Flats? Thanks to Moonlight Lighting Utah, All About You Rentals, and Summit Party Rentals, this Salt Flats elopement had all the seating and a chandelier to top it all off.

To bring everything together in the most elegant way possible, the stationery designs by Poppys Provisions took all the best details of this elopement and captured them in a moment in time, with colors and designs that make our hearts sing, as if we were the ones getting married.
