Meg Ricks and Darrell Hanks’ romance came alive in the city that never sleeps. Darrell was working as an investment banker in New York City, while Meg was modeling and dancing with the Radio City Rockettes. They noticed each other at church, followed each other on Instagram, and became fast friends. “We would help each other through dating struggles,” says Meg, who grew up in Provo. “I even remember telling him once, ‘Don’t worry, you’ll find an amazing girl to marry one day!’” After a few months, they began dating. And when Covid brought them both back to Utah, their friendship became a foundation for love.
