“I would say my style is very timeless, garden, romantic. I do pull in a little bit of modern elements, and there are lots of elements I love to add in that are more European-inspired. I love lots of different textures and tones, I love to bring in lots of metals and different things like that.”

“Color palette-wise, I love really anything. Recently brides have been really into classic and neutral colors, which I love. But it’s so fun to do brighter colors and more moodier color palettes at different times of the year too.”

“The Design Guide is a document that visually goes over every element of the wedding. So anything from color palettes to floor plans, what tables are going to look like, what linens we’re going to pick from, flower selections, everything. We go through that together, go back and forth, and make adjustments until we’ve gotten to a good place—exactly where the bride wants to be.”

Because of the design guide, everything else is as easy as can be afterward, including making those decisions that will inevitably come up.

“For brides, I think it’s really helpful to give them something visual, even if the inspo pictures we’re providing are not exact replicas of what we’re going to create. It just helps them be able to visualize it and get an idea of how things are going to look when everything’s put together, which makes them a lot more confident in making decisions too.”

“If I’m doing a wedding that has a ceremony, that’s one of my favorite moments to design. It’s such a special moment—it’s the moment—and so many amazing things happen during the ceremony time.”

She also loves the first dance between her couples.

“For a lot of brides and grooms, that’s the first time in the day where they’re sitting together and there’s not a lot going on around them—it’s more still than other moments. It’s a beautiful detail to witness and to see them have that moment together and take everything in.”

“I love going through that process with brides and just finding all the details that mean the most to them, and bringing them to life, and introducing things that they never thought could be a possibility or something that would fit in with their style, and making all those things happen.”
