Autumn in Japan

Date
Jun, 06, 2022

It’s Magazine Monday! And today we have a closer look at this meaningful and magical feature from our 2022 glossy pages.

CLOSE TO HOME. This impeccable inspo from Ruby Jane Events was inspired by photographer Kiana Bates’ Japanese heritage and the feeling of fall in Japan. “Japan in the springtime is frequently highlighted, but I wanted to focus on the soft romance of autumn,” she says. Many of the details highlighted are from Kiana’s life and family. The geta shoes belonged to her grandmother, and each of the origami paper cranes were hand folded by her grandmother as well. “This shoot hits near and dear to my heart,” Kiana says.

Brides, take note: Organically incorporating your heritage and traditions will create unforgettable moments and mementos for your family.

We’re also high-key obsessed with the fresh simplicity of this inspiration. The neutral color palette is stunningly serene, which makes that autumn floral arch — quite literally — shine. Lin Floral Co. even used Japanese Anemone in the arch! From the cake to the place settings to the personal pieces, every detail is thoughtfully placed while exuding an effortless elegance. As for the bride and groom, these two sweethearts are classically chic. And that bow on the back of her dress? The perfect way to tie the knot.
