Savannah Lloyd + Kaden Johnson 11.9.22
When Kaden Johnson first reached out to Savannah Lloyd on social media, he knew he had to add a little extra somethin’ somethin’ to his message to get her attention. Savannah was a Utah Jazz dancer at the time, so Kaden made his own tongue-in-cheek Jazz dancer audition video and sent it to her.
“I thought it was so clever and cute, so I gave him a chance,” Savannah says.
“I’ve been obsessed ever since!”
Second win? Kaden nailed the first date. “We went to Target and bought presents for a family for Christmas,” Savannah says. “We shopped for each kid and dropped off the presents to their parents. It was so fun, and I was able to see how selfless and kind Kaden is.”
The couple’s cute courtship continued and eventually led to a Provo Canyon proposal.
Now it was Savannah’s turn to get planning! First up on the wedding planning agenda? A dream dress. Savannah had worked at Pritchétt Bridal for three years and was so excited for her turn to be the bride. Her fitted Pritchétt Bridal gown had it all – delicate 3D flower details and subtle sparkles throughout. Her favorite element?
“The custom sleeves! They were a half-glove, and it was so perfect and dainty for a winter wedding,” Savannah says.
For the venue, Savannah chose Siempre because she knew it would look beautiful inside and outside no matter the weather (which can be hard to do in November in Utah). Florist Marianne Peck adorned the space with simple and stunning monochromatic blooms.
The wedding day festivities included a sealing in the Draper Utah Temple, followed by a luncheon, ring ceremony and reception at Siempre. The couple’s dreamy day ended with photobooth shenanigans, a killer dance party and a glittery sparkler exit.

“I always knew I wanted Kaden in a classic black tux,” Savannah says. “It has always seemed so classy and bridal to me.” Kaden customized his fit by embroidering the couple’s wedding date inside and he also chose the button detail. “I loved it on him!” Savannah says. So do we, girl!
Winter brides listen up! You don’t have to freeze or wear a parka. Take a cue from Savannah and get yourself a wedding-day worthy shawl. Savannah scored hers at Anthropologie and it was perfect for the weather and her look. For the bridesmaids, she chose chic black dresses that created beautiful contrast. “We ordered a million different dresses until we found the one,” Savannah says. “I knew they would be wearing them all day and I wanted them to be comfortable and feel beautiful.”
