Famous French Toast and Local Love: Kneaders Catering

Date
Aug, 19, 2024

Whether you’re looking for the most aesthetically pleasing desserts for your reception table spread or a wedding brunch that will leave your guests giddy, Kneaders catering has all your favorites and more. From soups to sandwiches—or even their famous French toast—Kneaders is a local favorite for more than just cafe dining.

The head catering coordinator Frank Duty says that their most popular options for weddings are the mini pastries, especially the mini tarts. We can speak from experience when we say that those tarts are the most popular for a reason.

“They are absolutely stunning, we have lots of different varieties of them, they’re pretty economical, and they look fabulous on a reception table, both at weddings or bridal showers. Our colors are so rich, and the flavors are so wonderful, I never had anyone that was disappointed with this product.”

Anyone who’s been to Kneaders knows this—and if you don’t, well, I guess it’s time to find your nearest Kneaders location. One of the things that makes Kneaders so special, especially for Utah Valley, is that it’s a local favorite, and everyone’s got their favorite sandwiches and desserts.

Endless Enjoyment of Familiar Favorites

Not only are the tarts amazing, but they come in all kinds of flavors and variations for any of your wedding food preferences. “We have the raspberry cream cheese flavor, it’s beautiful, we have our mini-fruit tarts, which also look stunning on a table, and then we even have things like coconut cream, banana cream, we could do key-lime, we can do chocolate if we need to.” But it doesn’t stop there—mini brownies and cookies are never a bad idea for a great dessert table.

And it gets even better—where there are mini desserts, there are mini sandwiches.

Kneaders has all kinds of very popular items, beyond just desserts, and any of them can and have been used in their catering services. Their quarter sandwiches, made on focaccia bread, are a popular choice for brides with great taste, literally.

They take that fabulous focaccia and create the bridal brunch finger food of your dreams!

“The quarter sandwich has everything on it—it has Kneader’s sauce, provolone cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion, salt and pepper, and then whatever meat you want, and then you pick it with a toothpick, and they look really, really pretty. They’re made on focaccia bread, and our focaccia bread is really tasty.”

And these are just a few of their most scrumptious options. Think about what you could do with a whole menu of familiar favorites. We couldn’t possibly begin to cover everything they offer in just one article, but we can definitely say there’s plenty more where that came from.

Proud of Their Product

And not only does everything taste amazing, but it looks just as nice. And all of that starts with having the best ingredients. Frank and his team couldn’t stop using the word “delicious.” Every sandwich option tastes incredible—all of their breads (and desserts!) are house-made. We could go on and on… the point is, they take great pride in their food, and they know how good it tastes.

“I’m proud of our product, I mean, our slow-roasted hand-pulled turkey is some of the best protein you will ever find anywhere. I’m really proud of what we do with Kneaders and I’m happy to represent our product out there.”

The process for tasting and booking your wedding food with Kneaders is not only easy, but it’s enjoyable. “If you’re interested in placing an order for a wedding you can call, visit the store, or find us online.”

“And then I can make contact with you, or one of our team members will, and we can arrange for you to come into one of our stores and try the products so you can actually see and taste them. Or if it’s in the local Salt Lake market or one of our outer markets, we can even visit and bring you samples, if you’d like us to. I love meeting with people.”

Have you ever heard of another caterer who brings the tasting to you?

Bridal Brunches

Now let’s talk about the French toast.

“We’ve even done some brunches for wedding receptions because every now and then a bride and groom will want to do a little wedding brunch and nothing works better for that than Kneaders’ French toast.”

“I don’t know if you’ve ever tried it, but our French toast is unbelievable.” We can back up his claim and say that it is, in fact, unbelievable.

“We have what we call the Kneaders Best Breakfast, which includes French toast, whipped cream, fresh strawberries, hot caramel syrup—and our syrup is handmade, our customers call it the nectar of the gods—it is so good.”

If you’ve never thought about having the best brunch in the world at your wedding until now, all we can say is you’re welcome.

Family Fold

Kneaders is more than just their delicious chicken salad, crazy good turkey cranberry croissants, hearty soups (great for fall and winter weddings!), amazing desserts, and iconic breakfasts. They believe that every couple they meet is now a part of their family.

“With Kneaders, in all that they do, but especially with the wedding aspect, Kneaders is truly a family-owned, family-centric business and treats anyone that walks through the door like family. You’re immediately part of the fold, a part of the family, and they’re going to do anything they can to make sure that your day goes as seamlessly as possible.”

“It’s like that familiar touch, that family kind of connection that carries through to make it that much more special. It’s a big part of who Kneaders is and why I think Utah Valley resonates with it so much—it started there.”

Anyone have a tissue? Or a restaurant napkin for our tears?

“I’m just so proud of our product and the way that we handle things, that it’s a delight for me to visit with people and show them what we have available, even delivering it myself sometimes. Just seeing how much it adds to their day makes it memorable.”

Feeling hungry yet? We definitely are. We’ll meet you at the nearest Kneaders!
