“We decided to build The Barn venue on one of our orchards. The orchards right around the barn are tart cherry trees. In April, their white blossoms are so pretty, and then in July, they’re cherries, and they’re still fully functioning, so we harvest the cherries in July, and we also grow apples and peaches as well.”

The orchards may have been around for a while, but The Barn Event Venue is newly built—and therefore newly gorgeous. Jana’s favorite part? The high ceilings.

“You walk in and the ceilings are so high, they’re super vaulted because it is a barn, they’re 40 feet high. And then up in the top, there’s metal roofing, and string lighting and trough lighting, and it just looks so gorgeous with the ceiling being so high.”

“There aren’t a lot of venues that have this type of property outside of it. This venue is cool because we’re so far away from everything, but also super close to the freeway, so it’s easy access.”

And they have everything you need included! “Our rental is 12 hours, so 10:00 am to 10:00 pm. We have tons of decorations that we include in our pricing, and brides really love that because it just makes it so much easier and less stressful for them, because everything’s already here. You don’t have to go out and buy a bunch of stuff.”

It’s so fun to see their creativity and what they want to do and what they bring—and then obviously working together and making their day beautiful.”

When it comes to planning your wedding, Jana has some great advice. “Relax and try to enjoy the process because it goes by so fast. In the end, you’ll realize that was not as stressful as it had to be, especially if you can find a place or people who can support you and help you with everything.”
