June Marketing Tip

3 Pieces of Social Media Advice Wedding Vendors Can Ignore 🚫📱

There is a lot of social media advice floating around online, and honestly, not all of it is helpful for wedding vendors. Here are three common myths you can stop worrying about:

#1: “You Need to Post Every Day”

Could posting every day help you grow? Sure. But if trying to post daily causes you to burn out and disappear for a month, it’s not helping your business.

The truth is that consistency beats intensity. Whether you post 2 times a week or 5 times a week, the best strategy is the one you can actually maintain during wedding season.

#2: “These Hashtags Will Make You Go Viral”

There is no magical hashtag formula.

Hashtags simply help Instagram understand what your content is about. Instead of loading your captions with generic wedding hashtags, focus on creating content that couples want to save, share, and engage with. That’s what drives reach in 2026.

#3: “You Have to Post at the Perfect Time”

There isn’t a secret posting time that guarantees success.

If you know your audience is most active in the evenings, great! Use that information. But don’t let the search for the “perfect” posting time keep you from posting at all.

The bottom line: Focus less on hacks and more on the fundamentals. Create helpful content, show up consistently, and make it easy for couples to connect with your business. Those strategies will take you much further than any social media shortcut.

Keeping Up With Team UVB

Carys has been doing alllll things spring cleaning lately! What better time to do a HUGE closet clean out than right before jumping into wedding season? She felt so good doing an overhaul of everything and felt so much better after organizing it.

She’s also been obsessing over the Trader Joe’s pink sparkling lemonade (let’s be real, who isn’t obsessed with it?). It’s delicious and perfect for those springtime picnics and bridal showers. Tiny cucumber sandwiches anyone?
