Amavi began construction in January of 2023, opening its doors for its first event by the end of April of that same year. But don’t let that impressive timeline fool you—every single detail of this gorgeous ceremony and reception hall brings luxury to a whole new level, from the golden-gilded chandeliers and stunning wall trimming to the romantic built-in backdrops that will match any color scheme or Pinterest board theme. Not to mention the fact that it’s indoors—we all know how unpredictable Utah weather can be.
The Moments That Matter
A favorite memory for the Amavi team was a few nights before their grand opening. They had stayed late at work and were overjoyed when they received pictures back from a photo shoot they had styled in the venue. “We just started tearing up because the thing we had worked on for so long had come to life. We were so excited to be able to offer this to clients, so they could have their own special moments in here, and get their own pictures back that they can cry about.” Amavi is a venue where once-in-a-lifetime memories take place.
They want to give those memories to as many people as possible. “We wanted to offer something that everyone can have. Every bride deserves a great and gorgeous reception hall.”

Not only are their fireplace and arch details to die for, along with a top-of-the-line sound system, but they also have hundreds of decorations available for anyone who wants them—and they do all the setup and clean up for you, so your exhausted family won’t have to.

That’s one of Amavi’s most underrated features—while many other venues of a similar caliber have specific vendor requirements, meaning you can only use vendors from their list of options, Amavi has no vendor requirements. Pick a Date, Pick a Place
Amavi’s best advice for brides is to figure out what’s most important to you and then plan your budget based on that. If you find a venue that you just fall in love with, but it’s a little out of your price range, look into their weekday or half-day rates!
Vendor tip!—If you have a specific date in mind, or want your wedding to be on a Friday or Saturday, book as soon as you can! Especially if you’re looking to book during the busy season, in the summer. For Amavi, 2024 spots are filling up quickly, and they are even booking events for 2025.
