Meet Our Team!
The team here at Utah Valley Bride is dedicated to one thing—you! Whether you’re a bride, vendor, or just love weddings, we are committed to bringing you the best bridal content and wedding inspo in Utah. We all love weddings—almost as much as we love interacting with our UVB community. Each of us spends countless hours putting all our love into making UVB the best it can be. Here’s a little bit about us and what we do. We’ve got your back, from saying, “Yes,” to saying, “I do!”
Micah Kaae
Vendor Concierge & Advertising Representative
Micah is your go-to girl for all things Utah Valley Bride! She is the mastermind behind our stunning events and bridal shows and manages all of our vendor partnerships, and she’s the best girl to go to with any questions about advertising opportunities.
If you have any questions, Micah will be your first stop!
Micah loves sushi, celebrating holidays, and Taylor Swift (she’s an evermore girlie)! She loves to spend her free time listening to true crime podcasts and watching her comfort show: Ghost Adventures. Micah is an Aquarius and will do everything she can to make the people around her feel loved and supported—she’s amazing at becoming your instant best friend! We would be lost without Micah on our team.

Alli Huntington
Content Curator
Alli is our expert at building the most incredible content using submissions from our vendors and local weddings! She’s in charge of managing our wedding and vendor features, advertising, and selecting which submissions to highlight. She’s our incredible social media champion and keeps our feed looking amazing!
Alli married her high school sweetheart, and together they have a little girl named Baylor. Alli is adopted, so she has a huge family who she adores and loves to spend time with. Her recent obsession is anything Sarah J. Maas, and if she had to choose she’d definitely be on the Night Court. And of course, she can’t live without her favorite drink, Coke! Alli is a huge part of what makes UVB gorgeous and inspiring!

Sydnie is our expert writer! She writes everything from magazine articles to the blogs you see on our website. She has a BA in English and Creative Writing and has years of experience working in the wedding industry. She loves getting to know our vendors and brides when she interviews them for articles.
Sydnie loves all things literature, from classic novels to gothic poetry. Her favorite things to do besides reading are running, spending time with her friends and family, and eating great food—her dream is to travel the world and taste all of the world’s best cuisine. Her zodiac is Cancer, she loves blue, and she’s always down for a crisp can of Dr. Pepper. Her creativity and passion for storytelling, paired with her love for weddings, make her our favorite writer!

Jenna Heaton
Designer
Jenna is our head designer and art director! She’s the creative mastermind behind all the designs in the annual magazine. Jenna has a BA in graphic design and has been doing it for eight years, both as the senior graphic designer for UVU and with her own freelance graphic design company.
Jenna loves the color green with a passion, and her wardrobe reflects it—she even has a green car. She loves eating Chinese food and is always down for an iced latte. Lately, she’s been reading romantic fantasy books and has a talent for playing and writing music on the piano. Her favorite movie is How to Train Your Dragon and, according to her, animated movies beat realistic movies every time. She’s married to her high school sweetheart and has a two-year-old son. We’re so lucky to have someone with such a creative mind on our team!
Brittny Hart
President
Brittny has loved all things weddings and glitter for as long as she can remember and brings a wealth of experience and passion to the bridal industry. Her academic background in advertising and marketing has given her a unique view of the businesses and fashion trends in Utah’s wedding industry. Brittny has a deep passion for supporting small business owners and providing inspirational and tactical resources for couples planning their weddings.
Before stepping into her role with UVB, Brittny worked within bridal fashion, wedding planning and ran two successful photography companies. Recently, Brittny retired from a 10+ year wedding photography career in order to put more attention on Utah Valley Bride and her other companies. As the visionary behind Divine Feminine Boudoir, Utah’s premier boudoir experience, and Realm Modiste, a fairy-tale princess-inspired lingerie company, Brittny infuses every project with a touch of magic and romance. Her love for all things mystical extends beyond her professional endeavors, with Ireland, unicorns, sparkles, and glitter serving as staples in her life.
In addition to her magical pursuits, Brittny finds joy in the simplicity of gardening and taking her dogs d’Artagnan and Fezzik on a nice long walk every day. Her goal is to become a master herbalist – she loves to travel to new countries and learn how they use plants for healing. She constantly finds new ways to cultivate beauty and sparkle in her life and work.
With Brittny’s boundless creativity, unwavering dedication, and love for all things weddings, Utah Valley Bride continues to captivate hearts and inspire dreams, making every bride’s journey an enchanting experience to remember.

Cassie can be reserved at first, then she’s fun and giggly like a little kid. She can talk like Donald Duck, has double-jointed thumbs, and loves to draw, dance, and sing. Her favorite color hands down is blue, in any shade, and loves sushi and tacos. She has a dog and cat named after Pokémon characters. And she also loves to read and write poetry.
