In the heart of downtown Salt Lake City you’ll find the one and only Asher Adams Hotel; originally built in 1908, and restored to its original vintage turn-of-the-century glory for its re-opening in 2024, it’s the perfect backdrop for your vintage wedding. Imagine your spring colors mixing perfectly with a speakeasy vibe, complete with a photobooth, a drop-waist wedding dress with a scarf, and Gatsby-esque gold finishes on every surface.
Thanks to Jess Sade Photography, this vintage wedding dream has come to life perfectly. From the drama of the getting-ready photos to the excitement of the flash photography to end the night, we feel like we’re right in the middle of a 1900s old money wedding day. The Rockefellers have nothing on this.
And who better to capture the intrigue of a turn-of-the-century love story than our bride and groom, Jennica and Eddy? Jennica’s warm, inviting smile is the perfect match for Eddy’s suave smirk and sunglasses. It’s giving high fashion meets vintage romance.
Vintage Wedding Dress Inspo: Lace and Luxury
But what’s a vintage bride without her wedding dress and jewelry? Both of our old-timey brides’ looks from Fantasy Bridal perfectly capture the twentieth-century aesthetic; the corset lace top with matching gloves and a massive satin ballgown with layer upon layer of drama really transports us back to a time when these images would have been captured in sepia tones and black and white.
But the bridal hair and makeup from Maria Hannifin Makeup is beyond stunning—this bridal beauty is ready for the old Hollywod red carpet.
And the second look wedding dress makes us feel like we stepped down into an underground speakeasy, complete with prohibition-era drinks and trumpetted music leading us into the late hours of the night. The only thing we’re missing is a vintage yellow getaway car with the top down.
That’s not even the end of the vintage bridal look, either; Hillside Floral perfectly captured the vintage wedding aesthetic with this drapey spring bouquet and textured centerpieces to complete the gorgeous venue’s vibe. And the hair and makeup? Maria Hannifin Makeup really knows how to make a beautiful bride blush.
Of course, any vintage wedding must include a handsome groom, and UWM Men’s Shop understood the assignment. We’ll never not love a perfectly tailored tux complete with suspenders to really tie the early 1900s inspiration together.
And the moment we all wait for, the moment bride and groom say I do, would not be complete without rings from J. Brooks Jewelers. They know how to make an old-money woman feel brand new with a radiant diamond like that. Marilyn Monroe says it best: diamonds are a girl’s best friend.
Stepping Into a Downtown Speakeasy
And speaking of our old-money bride, every bridal look is incomplete without shoes that will literally carry you down the aisle. These stunning vintage lace heels from Bella Belle are as delicate as a priceless family heirloom from a hundred years ago. Even if they’re brand-new, they are perfect for a bride looking for her something old.
The stunning reception space, complete with tiled floors and green and gold accents along the wall, is made even more awe-inspiring by the rentals and decor from Diamond Event & Tent. What better way to bring your vintage wedding look together than with giant gold candelabras and old French toile textures? And the design on these beautiful ivory plates really levels up this wedding from nice to exquisite.
More Vintage Wedding Details
Speaking of the reception, we can’t stop looking at the wedding cake from Granite Bakery, aptly named after Salt Lake’s own old granite quarries. This really is the ultimate vintage cake with its drop lines and elegant floral details, but the size is what truly makes it stand out.
That’s not the only detail we’ll never stop obsessing about, though. The incredible stationery (featured in our 2026 magazine!) from Throughtfully Yours is inspired by the actual walls of The Asher Adams itself, with gold accents and early twentieth-century shapes paired with spring colors and elegant lettering. It’s like an invitation to travel back in time.
If you’re a bride looking for your very own vintage wedding inspo, look no further than right here in downtown Salt Lake; step into the hotel and step into another time with your handsome beau for the old-timey, old-money, vintage I dos of your dreams.
