Dearest gentle reader, it has come to this author’s attention that you’re in need of details on the event of the season. Believe us when we say, that even Lady Whistledown herself would be remiss to know that she wasn’t in attendance for such a delightful evening. Though this may not be a scandal sheet, you’ll be glad to know we didn’t spare any of the juicy details.
And those details are all thanks to Lady Nicole from The Wedding Time. As a master wedding planner and event coordinator, she took our event and turned it into something worthy of the queen herself. Your move, Your Majesty.
What would a grand regency ball be without a venue to host such a splendid evening? Thanks to the newly renovated Magnolia Event Center, the ball was absolutely stunning from every angle. From the ballroom to gardens perfect for a promenade, this estate knows how to host the finest lords and ladies of the ‘ton.
And every lady knows that it wouldn’t be a ball worth noting without music and dancing. Lord PBaby brought the finest string orchestra—ahem—turn table for the enjoyment of our most esteemed guests. He brought the music, and Old Glory Historical Dance brought the dancing. It was no easy feat to learn a historically accurate dance, but our guests of course were elegant with every step.
As the nobility and notable patrons of the night stepped into the gardens for a promenade, they were met with pall mall, hand-painted portraits from Lady Kelsey Jane, and a charming scene from Zaana Jewelry, where one could make their own crown jewels and more. To top it all off, what would be a promenade in the garden without the most exquisite picnic setup from Tilly Events?
Reader, it’s okay to gasp at the elegance of it all.
Speaking of elegance, the incredible Bridgerton-esque florals of the evening were done by Blossoms and Twine. Not even the queen’s roses could compare to these delightful arrangements. The flowers on the tables, paired with Candles Utah and the most magnificent linens from Moments Specialty Linens made the food all the more incredible—and the food was, in fact, incredible. We have Utah Celebrations Catering to thank for our splendid hors d’eouvres and refreshments.
With such elegance and splendor from our vendors and guests, we wouldn’t be able to capture it all without the skill of Lady Steph Smith Photography and Lord Alex Pizarro Productions. As they used to say in the nineteenth century—pics or it didn’t happen.
And last but certainly not least, dear reader, what’s a regency ball without a horse-drawn carriage to drop you off at the door? All of you Bridgerton fans know how important a good carriage ride is. The Carriage Establishment made all of our horse-drawn dreams come true the entire night long.
Most importantly, thank you to our guests in gowns and gloves who came from far and wide to celebrate our regency ball. How could we pass up an opportunity to dress up and do our hair for a chance to become the diamond of the season? We send a curtsy your way, dear lords and ladies.
My dear reader, if you’re feeling sorrowful to have missed such an event, never fear. This author has an inkling that this is only the beginning.
