Orange You Glad

It’s Magazine Monday! And today we’re sharing this elegant and elevated inspiration from our glossy pages. Get ready to flip out over every detail made in the shade.

Forget Fall. Orange is a shade made for the whole year long.

SHADES AT PLAY. Not throwing shade, friends, but orange isn’t just for autumn anymore. When planning this tone-on-tone inspiration, designer Elizabeth Means of Eccentricity went for a clean slate of whites and grays, combined with the full spectrum of rust colors. “It’s raw, minimalist and modern,” she says. “We incorporated bold florals — both in real life and in the paper suite — because we wanted to show that even with more industrial elements, beautiful things can still grow.” The white elements, in contrast to the florals, embraced those clean, modern lines. The Mary’s Bridal gown is a sleek, off-the-shoulder frock, and the cake by Cassidy at Flour & Flourish is elegantly simple and adorned with a single, stunning stem.

BOLD BLOOMS. This inspiration is overflowing with florals —masterfully done by Heidi at Over The Top Events. That ceremony arch is a showstopper — and it looks perfectly picturesque in front of that beautiful brick. As for the ombré bouquet? It’s modern, fabulous, elegant, transcendent — and we’d like to hold it forever, please. “The ombré spectrum of white to rust helps show that chaos can still be carefully structured into something beautiful,” Elizabeth says. The bold blooms continue into the paper suite, also designed by Eccentricity. Those envelope liners over-deliver every time.

UNFORGETTABLE. These tones and details are unique and unforgettable. And the images from Breanna White Photography capture the depth, drama and romance of it all. “Every decor decision you make should contribute to the bigger picture,” says Elizabeth of Eccentricity. “You don’t have to have the same wedding you’ve seen a hundred times. You can be different. You can do the unexpected.”
