It’s Magazine Monday on UtahValleyBride.com! Here’s a closer look at this dreamy real wedding from our 2020 glossy pages.
For Miranda Speth and Gabe Monarrez, it all started on the ‘gram. “One of my high school friends worked with Gabe for a summer and we connected on social media,” Miranda says. “He slid into my DMs.”
When they met in person, Miranda was taken with his genuine kindness and charming smile. Gabe was in love with her beautiful eyes. “After we talked for hours, I realized she was so impressive, almost intimidating, and I wanted to get to know her more,” Gabe says.
The pair started dating, and when it was time to propose, Gabe popped the question with flower petals, a lighted “Marry Me” sign and a gorgeously classic ring.
Her dress? Sparkle and splendor. “It was pure sequins and so sparkly in person,” Miranda says of her gorgeous gown from The Perfect Dress. “And the sleeves had me obsessed.”
Gabe’s Mexican heritage was honored with a Mariachi band. “Typically in Mexican weddings, the uniting of two people is a celebration — basically a huge party with music, food and entertainment. The Mariachi set the tone and brought everyone together.”
PICTURE THIS The pergola was the perfect focal point. It was lovingly built by Miranda’s dad and dressed up with eucalyptus leaves and cascading greenery. Miranda loved the way her photographer, Jordy B. Photography, managed her massive wedding party with ease and professionalism. “She got all the shots we wanted and more!” Miranda says.
