Geography is no match for Hailey Horner and Weston Bonny. While their love started close to home at Utah Valley University, it only grew stronger as Hailey traveled throughout Asia on a study abroad. On her last stop in Hawaii, she got the surprise of her life from the love of her life. Unbeknownst to her, Weston flew in and set up a romantic spot on a beach to propose. “I don’t remember half of the things he said, but I know I was the happiest girl on earth,” Hailey says.
Hailey’s family owns River Bottoms Ranch in Midway, so she built her dream day around the stunning farmhouse venue. “River Bottoms Ranch is like my home,” she says. “It is my happy place, and it’s even more special to me now that we got to spend our day there.”
The day included a sealing in the Payson LDS Temple, followed by a ring ceremony, dinner, and reception. “I work so many weddings at the ranch,” Hailey says. “It was the sweetest experience to be the bride.”
Home is where the heart is.

LOVE BOAT River Bottoms Ranch has no shortage of breathtaking vistas. Whether you want to row it up in the pond or get lost in a field of dreams — RBR comes in clutch. Plus, Hailey’s Chantel Lauren gown was part of the designer’s 2020 collection, meaning Hailey was the first bride to don those delightfully delicate sleeves.
GOING TO THE TEMPLE … and they’re gonna get married. Before their festivities at RBR, Hailey and Weston wed at the Payson LDS Temple.
PETAL POWER Hailey and her mother Janica worked with Mara at FUSE Wedding & Events to incorporate decadent details — like the luxe velvet table numbers. Flowers were a show-stopping piece of the wedding magic — from the jaw-dropping arch to the tablescape to the plumes of pampas grass. “Flowers were everywhere,” Hailey says. “Marianne at Bushel & A Peck Floral absolutely nailed it.”
FALL FOREVER The couple’s October wedding had sweet seasonal touches, from Magleby’s butternut squash soup to the comfort of delicious donuts. Their paper pretties were elegant and elevated. And can we talk about that brilliant blue cake with sublime sugar flowers by Flour & Flourish? Almost too pretty to eat. (Almost.)
FAIRY TALE ENDING The couple’s families were involved in all aspects of the night — from the little brothers as ring bearers to the epic hip hop dance by Weston and his mom. The couple departed the glimmering River Bottoms Ranch amidst sparklers, smiles, smooches and sunsets. Hailey and Weston’s fairy tale wedding was close to home and close to their hearts.
