It’s Magazine Monday! And today we have a closer look at the wedding of Emily and Chris from our 2022 glossy pages. Happy Scrolling!
Chris Baldwin and Emily Agle first laid eyes on each other at a high school football game. Seven years — and many adventures — later, Chris pulled off a thoughtful proposal that involved a sunset walk, a photo display of more than 200 pictures, and a surprise family dinner at Sundance. Chris understood the assignment!
The couple’s proposal was topped only by their romantic summer wedding at Walker Farms. The big day included a ceremony surrounded by family and friends, followed by dinner, dessert and dancing. The wedding’s signature color? Blue! The soothing shade charmed in every element from the paper to the petals. “I loved the hints of blue in the bouquets,” Emily says. Emily’s favorite moment of the day was exchanging vows privately before the ceremony. The funniest moment? When a gust of wind caused the floral arch to fall directly on the couple during photos (the arch stayed in tact though, props to Mandy from The Potted Pansy on that one). Emily and Chris currently live in Provo where Emily teaches second grade and Chris is finishing up at BYU and applying to medical school. The high-school sweethearts’ wedding was a just-right dreamy summer night.
Walker Farms is one of those venues that makes every wedding look GOOD, and Emily and Chris’ celebration was no exception. Some of the best photos are taken in the bridal suite. “It’s beyond gorgeous — every bride’s dream,” Emily says. Her Alta Moda gown had three graceful tiers, and she fell in love with it the second she put it on. Photographer Alyssia Baird captured every detail beautifully. “I have never met someone as kind and talented as Alyssia,” Emily says.
