“In the early summer of 2018 I went on a friends trip to my favorite place on earth — Lake Powell. Little did I know I would be meeting the love of my life. Josh came up to me when I arrived and gave me a hug, and I remember a thousand good butterflies swarmed in my tummy. Let’s just say he’s very easy on the eyes! We started chatting, and on our last night we kissed under a thousand stars and literal — and I mean LITERAL — fireworks went off! We hung out every single day after that and started to fall for each other fast. I remember trying to hold back the words ‘I love you’ after only a couple weeks of hanging out because I didn’t want him to think I was weird, so I wrote it in my journal instead. We eventually said I love you, and I found out he also wrote that he loved me in his journal on the same day I wrote it in mine! We got married in late December and I still find myself falling more and more in love with him. I am the luckiest girl in the world.”
