This photo was not planned. Usually I get dolled up for my editor’s letter picture so I can properly dispense fancy wisdom to you fancy brides for your fancy wedding days. But here I am in my au naturel environment — with tired eyes and a happy soul as I work with bombshell creatives in our industry to bring you the latest and greatest wedding trends.
At this particular moment, I was truly in awe of the works of art that Margie Keats from The Lovely Ave created for our ring editorial. I was gushing. She was blushing. And then click! The talented Alyssia Baird (another shero of mine), captured the memory. I share this story not to have you tell me that my eyes don’t look tired (liars), but to say how lucky you brides are to be celebrating your forevers here in Utah. Our local wedding industry is vibrant. It’s collaborative. It’s fun. And I get to see first-hand how much these vendors adore their brides, and how much they love, honor and obey their art.
