The Name’s Rauh, Francesca and Adam Rauh
This James Bond-inspired Park City wedding will have you asking for your drink shaken, not stirred.
Francesca and Adam first met through mutual friends while attending college at California State University San Marcos, but wouldn’t feel that spark until much later.
They also lived on the same street for a year. “Adam would occasionally bring in my trash cans from the street (I had no idea), and I would wave every time we passed each other in the car. That was the extent of our relationship until we reconnected 11 years later.”
And reconnect they did! They had a first date on New Year’s Eve at Newport Beach Harbor and then began a long-distance relationship with Francesca in Utah and Adam in California. Eventually, Adam moved to Utah to be with Francesca and they ended up eloping at the courthouse in Provo in August of 2023—a year before their “official” Park City wedding the following August.
“August has always been a special month for us, which is why we decided to host our formal wedding celebration on August 2, 2024. The following day we were sealed in the Saratoga Springs LDS Temple. We spent our honeymoon exploring the Amalfi Coast in Italy.”
They skipped the proposal altogether—and we’re not mad about it. Who needs a proposal when you can just elope?
Flowers, Decor, and Food
And their official wedding after the elopement is simply too stunning for words. From the gorgeous wedding gown to the amazing backdrop, this Park City wedding has us planning our own second, third, and fourth wedding celebrations!
When it came to wedding planning, Francesca knew she wanted to prioritize flowers, decor, and food. And it definitely made all the difference!
“Working with our event and floral designer was also special because we’ve known each other for years. She brought my vision to life and it turned out more beautiful than anything I pictured in my head. She is so talented and I will forever be grateful that she chose to be part of this special day.”
“Planning was fun but overwhelming at times—there are so many choices! I think the most overwhelming part for me was choosing table decor. At our appointment, we put items on the table based on my inspo pics and what I thought I wanted. I liked most of the items on their own but something about the grouping just wasn’t clicking for me. In the end, I had this ‘ah-ha’ moment where I grabbed a new linen from the display rack and suddenly all of the pieces came together. That was a good feeling!”
Finding the perfect wedding details can be tricky sometimes—but this Park City wedding is proof that it pays off! And then came the food.
“Food selections were easy. I knew what I wanted and Culinary Crafts made it happen. My parents flew out to Utah for the food tasting, which was a fun experience. I still think about our wedding meal to this day… It was that good!”
Wedding Planning With Your Favorite People
Why not make an excuse to take a trip out to Utah for a food tasting? It checks things off your to-do list, and you get to spend time with people you love, making the wedding planning process that much more enjoyable.
“I think my favorite part of wedding planning was sharing it with people I love, especially our parents. We had a lot of fun together.”
Another memorable moment for Francesca (and her parents!) while wedding planning was finding her dream dress with her mom. “She was there every step of the way—choosing the dress, customizing the sleeves, picking the right veil and accessories. We had fun setting up our wedding registry too!”

A Park City Wedding Worthy of 007
And the overall theme of Francesca and Adam’s Park City wedding? “James Bond. I wanted it to be classy and timeless.” Classy and timeless it was—we’ll take more of these photos shaken, not stirred!
They spent the week of their wedding with their families in Heber and Park City, kicking off the wedding celebrations. “Our families rented homes close to each other, which made get-togethers and transportation easy. My parents hosted a welcome barbeque for those who were in town on Wednesday. On Thursday, my mother-in-law hosted our rehearsal dinner at
Grappa in Park City.”
And then came the big day. Francesca spent the morning getting ready in the bridal suite with her bridal party before their beautiful first look and bridals leading up to the ceremony in the evening.
The whole day was full of love and laughter for the bride and groom and their loved ones. That was Francesca’s favorite part. “The amount of love in the room that day—I’ll never forget it.”
Wedding Day Details
But that’s not all—no wedding would be complete without an adorable ring-bearer, and this one takes the cake, literally. “We incorporated our dog Ellie as much as possible—Ellie’s bar sign, cocktail napkins, drink holders, cake topper with frosting on her little nose, sugar cookies. She was also our flower girl during the ceremony.”
And the fun details keep going, from light-up cowboy hats to amazing cocktail hour furniture. “I loved our late-night spicy chicken sandwiches and custom Diet Coke bottles too. Adam and I are big fans of Chick-fil-A.” And we’re big fans too—of this stunning Park City wedding. We would gladly eat more chicken at an event like this!
And one more unexpected detail for Francesca was the non-alcoholic champagne tower—or rather where it was located. “I didn’t know where this was going to be set up. I assumed it would be done inside the barn in a corner. I was pleasantly surprised when they opened the barn doors at golden hour and it was outside directly behind our sweetheart table. It was stunning!”
Point for the amazing wedding planners! That’s Francesca’s biggest advice for couples. “Make sure you have a wedding planner and coordinator that you trust to execute your vision. This will allow you to be present on your wedding day and not worried about logistics or details.”
Oh, and of course, she says to enjoy it all. “Have fun. It goes by so fast!”
Whether you’re looking for your own James Bond-inspired wedding or thinking of including a furry ring bearer of your own, admiring Francesca and Adam’s Park City wedding is the perfect place to start when you’re looking for amazing wedding inspo. We may or may not have all of these photos saved to look at in our spare time.
