Winter Bridal Show

Our first bridal show is THIS MONTH!! Come stop by for an excuse to get out and meet your future wedding vendors and pick up free copies of the 2026 magazine. Picture it as a farmer’s market for weddings… You’ll walk away with free stuff, discounts on vendors, and a fun night reveling in the fact that you’re getting married!
Oh, and we may or may not be doing a massive full-wedding giveaway. Get your free tickets!

We are beyond excited to jump into interacting with real couples this year, giving out more magazines, and helping our favorite vendors connect with the clients of their dreams!
Couples Date Night | Lucky In Love
March 12, 2026 | 6:00-8:00 pm
Celebrate the luck of the Irish with us this March at our first-ever couples date night event!
This date night event is open to anyone: vendors, engaged couples, already-married couples, and anyone who wants to spend a candle-lit evening with their partner learning about the 5 Love Languages and enjoying a delicious meal. There will be a photo booth, lucky charm bar jewelry from Zaana, and even a romantic live harpist! Only one ticket needed per couple. We can’t wait to see you there!
February Vendor Meetup
Thank you to everyone who came to our very first vendor meetup! It was so fun to just hang out and chat with all of you and make new friends. It was such a special way to connect with each other in this community and foster those friendships with our fellow wedding vendors.

Northridge Valley is hosting their annual Valentine’s Dinner and Dance this Valentine’s Day, you won’t want to miss it! Let them handle your romantic evening plans on February 14th with delicious food, romantic music, and dancing under the stars. Think mocktails, luxurious beef medallions and delicious chicken marsala, photos, the works.
Northridge is also hosting a Valentine Comedy Show Dinner on Febraury 13th. Come laugh your heart out with your sweetheart with a good meal, great entertainment, and a night full of fun. Photobooth and mocktails abound!

Marketing Tip of the Month: Instagram Hashtag Rules Have Changed 📲✨
If you’ve tried adding more than five hashtags lately and Instagram stopped you, you’re not imagining it. Instagram now limits posts to five hashtags total.
This change reflects what Instagram has been telling creators and businesses for a while now: hashtags are no longer the main driver of reach.
Right now, Instagram prioritizes:
• Saves
• Shares
• Comments
• Watch time
• Relevance to the user
Hashtags still matter, but their role has shifted. They now help Instagram understand what your content is about, not push it to new audiences on their own.
What this means for wedding vendors:
• You can no longer rely on long hashtag lists
• Each hashtag needs to be intentional and relevant
• Broad, generic tags are less effective than specific ones
Think niche, location, and service-specific. Choose hashtags and keywords in your caption that clearly describe your work and the couples you want to attract;
i.e. ‘Utah elopement photography’ over ‘wedding photography,’ or ‘Utah vintage cakes’ over ‘wedding cake,’ etc.
Your content and captions are now doing the heavy lifting. If a post is helpful, saveable, or shareable, Instagram will do the rest.
Bottom line:
You get five hashtags. Make them count. Focus on value, clarity, and connection, and let hashtags support your content, not carry it.

This month, Micah has been in full housewarming mode as she moves into her new house! She’s been loving decorating her new office and making it feel like home. She is especially loving her lavender vanilla candle from Target, which instantly warms up the space. And yes, she might leave the Christmas lights up ‘til January…or February. this is her place, she makes the rules! Micah has also been getting in all the snuggles with her new puppy Koh!
This month we’re giving a special shout out to DJ Scotty J! Not only did he rock our heels off, literally, at the launch party last month, but he is genuinely the most enthusiastic, contagiously happy soul. We just love seeing Scotty’s smile at every event.
Scotty is known for his famous greeting, “What up, fam bam!” and his ability to get literally every guest on the dance floor. Everyone who has ever met him knows how energetic and fun he is to be around, and that energy translates tenfold to the weddings he DJs. It’s hard not to party when Scotty’s running the show.
