Floral Chandeliers and Timeless Hydrangeas

One look at the grounds at Thanksgiving Point is literally all it takes for you to fall in love and make you want to have your wedding at any one of their gorgeous venues. But that’s not even half of what makes hosting Thanksgiving Point weddings amazing; from gorgeous gardens to delicious catering services, they have everything you need to bring your dream wedding to life.

But here’s one of the best parts: Thanksgiving Point’s on-site floral team. Not only will your jaw drop at the natural beauty of the surrounding garden beds and beautiful blooms, but you’ll be amazed at what their floral team will do for your wedding day flowers. They know a thing or two about great floral design, and on top of all of it, it’s as easy as it can get!

All Under One Arbor

Abby Allard from Thanksgiving Point weddings says it best. “What sets us apart is our intimate knowledge of Thanksgiving Point’s venues and gardens. We understand how lighting, seasonal blooms, and backdrop settings interact, allowing us to design florals that naturally enhance each space. Plus, our direct access to venue logistics ensures smooth communication, fewer complications, and a seamless experience from planning to execution.”

One place to handle all of your wedding planning, floral, food, and more seamlessly? Count us in. “Keeping everything under one roof offers efficiency, convenience, and peace of mind. It eliminates miscommunication between vendors and ensures your entire wedding day is curated by professionals who are all working toward the same vision, from food to florals to logistics.”

And when we say full-service floral design, we mean it. On-site doesn’t mean less amazing in any way.

“Our in-house floral team offers full-service wedding floral design. This includes everything from bouquets, boutonnieres, and centerpieces to large-scale ceremony installations, reception decor, and custom floral accents. We create thoughtfully curated designs tailored to each couple’s unique vision, all within the stunning surroundings of our gardens and venues.”

Personalized Floral Design to Fit Your Wedding

Plus, having your floral team on-site means knowing that you’ll get everything on time and in pristine condition.

“Having our floral team on-site means couples receive personalized service that’s both efficient and elevated. We coordinate directly with your wedding planner, know the timing and layout of every space, and can easily adapt to last-minute needs. Plus, with our dedicated walk-in cooler, we’re able to keep flowers fresh and vibrant for longer, ensuring your arrangements look their absolute best from the first look to the final dance.”

Even more so, just one look at their designs from weddings past is proof alone that they can make the most beautiful arrangements you can imagine. Hanging wisteria in front of a waterfall? Done. Perfectly pink roses adorning a live rose trellis tunnel? You got it. Don’t worry, our jaws are on the floor too.

Oh, and we’re sure you’ve heard of their famous Tulip Festival. Saying I do in the middle of a spring tulip bloom is literally something straight out of a fairytale. Here’s your sign to bring that fairytale to life!

It’s like having the ultimate garden party.

The Floral Design Process for Thanksgiving Point Weddings

The design process is as easy as every step along the way with Thanksgiving Point weddings.

“Our design process starts with a one-on-one consultation where we get to know your wedding vision, preferences, and priorities. We then create a custom floral proposal, complete with inspiration images, seasonal flower recommendations, and a cohesive design plan. From there, we collaborate with you through revisions and finalize every detail leading up to your big day.”

Did we mention that they’re the best at what they do yet?

“We’re experts at guiding couples through the process—even if you’re not sure where to begin. Our floral designers have an incredible ability to draw inspiration from the details you might not think matter: your wedding gown, your engagement ring, even your career can give us clues about your style and preferences. We’ll also review any inspiration photos you have, walk through our gardens if you’d like, and offer seasonal suggestions to shape a floral design that feels beautifully personal and effortlessly you.”

So, whether you’re a lawyer with a fall wedding or a beekeeper with a love of spring, the floral team for Thanksgiving Point weddings will know exactly which flowers will brighten up your bridal aesthetic.

“Every design we create is tailored to reflect the couple’s unique style. Our florist is skilled at picking up on subtle cues, whether your taste leans modern, ornate, timeless, trendy, or whimsical. Our florist can guide you on everything, from the shape and size of your bouquet to the style and structure of each arrangement—ensuring every detail fits your vision. We also provide a curated catalog of floral imagery to help you discover what you love and bring your dream wedding to life.”

Hello, Pinterest boards and inspo collages!

Ranunculus and Cala Lilies

Abby’s personal favorite floral moments are the perfect example of timelessly gorgeous. “Ranunculus are always a favorite; they’re one of the most consistently requested blooms year after year because of their romantic, layered look.”

But just like it’s fun to find those timeless wedding moments, it’s fun to find the trends, too.

“This year, we’re also seeing a rise in lilies and calla lilies, as well as green and antique hydrangeas, which add a lush, vintage touch. While Thanksgiving Point is a timeless venue, we love weaving in current trends when it fits the couple’s vision. Right now, pastel palettes and charming details like bows are having a big moment, and we’re seeing those reflected in floral choices too.”

Timeless meets vintage meets pastel? It’s like they’re reading our minds.

Thanksgiving Point Weddings Floral Packages

Just like their designs are as unique as you are, Thanksgiving Point weddings’ on-site floral services can vary to fit exactly what you need.

“Our basic floral package includes a bridal bouquet, a photo bouquet, and two boutonnieres, perfect for an intimate or simple celebration. From there, we offer three additional package tiers that build upon the basics, featuring options like ceremony floral installations, welcome arrangements, centerpieces, and other unique add-ons. Each level is designed to offer more personalization and impact, depending on the size and style of your wedding.”

What if we want all of the above? Asking for a friend with a magazine…

“We offer comprehensive floral services for the entire wedding day. From ceremony florals to dinner hour accents to reception centerpieces, we handle every detail. We also manage all setup, transitions, and breakdown so your day stays stress-free.”

Another great benefit of on-site florals: you and your guests don’t have to lift a finger!

Local Utah Flowers

One of the best parts of Thanksgiving Point weddings is working with the seasons, and the seasonal blooms, we all know and love in Utah.

“Because we work closely with local farms and growers, and even have access to certain blooms within Thanksgiving Point’s grounds, we can offer some specialty and seasonal flowers that aren’t widely available. This allows us to create designs that are unique to our location and the time of year.”

This brings us back to the Tulip Festival. It may not be standard to pick the tulips right out of the ground for your bridal bouquet, but it’s something that could be soon.

“While we don’t currently offer this as a standard option, it’s something we’re actively working toward with our horticulture team. Our dream is to incorporate seasonal blooms directly from Thanksgiving Point’s gardens to create florals that are not only stunning, but also deeply connected to the place where you’re getting married. It’s a natural next step for us, and we’re excited about what’s to come!”

Even so, the Thanksgiving Point gardens are the ultimate inspiration. “We design with the surroundings in mind, choosing blooms that complement the garden colors, shapes that echo natural landscapes, and styles that feel harmonious with each venue’s layout. The result is a floral design that enhances the beauty of the setting rather than competes with it.”

2025 Floral Trends in Thanksgiving Point Weddings

Some recent favorites have us considering just hanging around the gardens all the time to get a glimpse.

“We’ve had the pleasure of working on some truly creative weddings lately. We’ve designed citrus- and pear-themed weddings, incorporating fresh fruit into the arrangements for a whimsical, seasonal touch. Another exciting trend we’ve embraced is creating floral elements within hedges, whether it’s tucking flowers into hedges or designing full hedge installations. This unexpected approach adds texture, color, and depth to the outdoor spaces, making for a unique and captivating design.”

Again, don’t forget to send us an invite if this is something you’re doing.

“Couples are requesting floral installations like floating blooms, floral chandeliers, and even floral photo backdrops or swings. We’ve also seen floral accents on signage, welcome tables, and even signature mocktail garnishes.”

Tips from the Experts

Abby’s advice for couples considering Thanksgiving Point weddings is to lean into the beauty that’s already there.

“With Thanksgiving Point’s abundant gardens, there’s no need to overdo it; keeping

arrangements simple from the ceremony to the reception is a great way to stretch your budget. Trust your florist to recommend seasonal blooms that are both beautiful and cost-effective.”

Here’s where you bring in your Pinterest boards—or not! “Ideally, having a general sense of your style, favorite colors, or any must-have flowers is helpful, but it’s not necessary. Whether you come in with a clear vision or no idea at all, we’re here to help guide you and shape your dream florals. If you have photos of your dress or venue, those can help, but we’re happy to create something unique even if you’re starting from scratch.”

In Abby’s opinion, Thanksgiving Point weddings are extra magical because of the natural beauty and the impeccable experience working with their floral design team. “There’s something timeless and storybook-like about saying “I do” in a place so naturally stunning, and we feel honored to enhance that magic with flowers that reflect your love story.”

Here’s your sign to have your wedding in place that handles all the logistics, including the floral installation of your dreams. Whether it’s green hydrangeas or floral chandeliers, or even hydrangea chandeliers, Thanksgiving Point weddings are guaranteed to have the most magical flowers every time.
