Emilie Woodhead and Tyler Headlee are the sweetest of sweethearts. They grew up three minutes away from each other — but didn’t meet until their senior year of high school. And after a (real) high school musical, a year of college and a two-year LDS mission, they became sweethearts for life. “He proposed by driving around in circles telling me about how we met — what he first thought of me and what he loved about me. Then we went to the restaurant where we had our first date. He proposed to me there, and they brought us free gelato to celebrate!” The celebrations continued with wedding planning. Emilie picked her theme. “Elegant bohemian. I wanted the vibe to be very free-spirited but have a beautiful, classic elegance to it as well.” She picked her photographer — and was extra picky because she is a photographer herself. “I knew right away who I wanted. Kristina Curtis captures everything with so much beauty and honesty. I can’t thank her enough for the beautiful moments she captured.” She picked her petals. “Nicole from Soil & Stem is incredible. Her designs are organic, flowy and stunning.” She picked her venue. “I chose Wadley Farms because I love the European feeling you get when you’re there.” She picked her dress. “I fell in love. The seamstress and I came up with a design together for the sleeves, and she created it from scratch. The design is one of a kind.” And she printed her photos for the reception. “I won’t print with anyone but Pro Digital Photos. They are my favorite.” In the end, the day was too short and too sweet. “It was the best day of my life,” Emilie says. “It was fun and enchanting. It was sunshine and happiness. I could relive that day over and over.”
